Role: Our client currently has an opening for an energetic and qualified Quality Control Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in an established and very successful food processing company. The suitable candidate will report directly to the QC Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out line quality assurance checks.
• Monitoring of all QC related In process documentation.
• Auditing of all systems against documented procedures.
• Review of quality systems documentation.
• Amendment of current procedural documentation when changes in product or processes
• Development, review and updating of internal and customer product specifications.
• Customer complaint handling and trending.
• Product sampling
• General administration duties within the Quality Department
• Aiding in laboratory testing where required.
• Aiding in internal and external auditing.
The successful candidate should also have the following qualities:
- At least 1 years experience in QC.
- Meat experience is essential.
- Science qualification desirable.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
Location: South East
Salary: Negotiable – depending on experience
