Our client is a leading logistics organisation that continues to increase its turnover and profitability through both acquisition and organic growth.

The role
As Hub Manager you will hold a significant leadership position within the organisation taking full responsibility for performance across a range of efficiency, quality, financial and employee measures. Achieving results through your management team will be key as you set clear performance frameworks and ensure everyone is aligned to the delivery of business goals. A natural leader you will encourage a culture of continuous improvement, maximising individual and team performance and ensuring everyone contributes to the hub's success.
You will build effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation. Within this cross-dock operation, key objectives are to ensure the hub meets and exceeds service delivery commitments, removing inefficiencies within the operation and reacting immediately to volume fluctuations.
This is an exciting challenge as the business has completed several acquisitions over the past few years and as a result, candidates with an understanding or background of integration would be advantageous, as would a CPC.

The applicant
An experienced manager ideally in an automated/manual sorting operation in a parcel/mail network or similar time-critical environment. A demonstrable track record of achieving results, and of leading change across a large and diverse team. A good problem solver, customer focused and commercially astute.
