Our West London Borough client seeks a domestic violence Senior Practicioner to work within their children and families service.
The role is based in the Town Hall but requires visits to clients and attendance at differnet venues to complete assessmnets. You must be an experienced Domestic Violnce worker possibly Qualified Social Worker or trained in assessing risks within Domestic Violence cases with a background in Child Welfare and knowledge of safeguarding.
You will be required to complete risk assessments, possess good analytical skills and report writing skills. You must have the ability to work with other agencies and advise on risk of harm from DV and impact on children, plus advise on support services and intervention required to safeguard children. You will need knowledge of research on DV and undertaken training in this area, offering expertise and sound knowledge base to advise other professionals.
