SOFTWARE/CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER
We are looking for graduate qualified Engineers to provide creativity and problem solving skills to a range of ground breaking, FMCG automation projects.
We need people with a real desire to learn multiple technologies, to think laterally, to succeed and excel when faced with technical challenge. Our successful applicants will join a close knit team of mechanical, electrical and control systems/software Engineers, and will be flexible enough to make an immediate contribution. If you like the idea of working in a committed, professional team environment, then this would be a good opportunity to use and grow your skills. We are looking for people who are commercially aware, customer focused and keen to progress quickly to larger projects with more responsibility.
The best applicants will have a blend of hands on practicality with exceptional academic attainment, to solve real world engineering problems efficiently. We solve a range of novel engineering machine systems problems, and our people develop a broad engineering capability and strong innovation skills.
A technically bold person will soon gain credibility with clients and colleagues, and there is flexibility to enable you to gain specialist expertise in areas of mutual interest. Of course, we are looking for team players who can communicate adequately and have good humour.
Key Responsibilities of the Software/Control Systems Engineers may include:
-Collaborating with others in the preparation of costed proposals for machinery, based on the Customer Requirements.
-Preparation of high and low-level Software Design Specifications and related documents
-Designing and building software for anything from test rigs to complete high speed production machinery
-Commissioning the control system
-Participating in setting and generating appropriate standards
-Assisting in commissioning and operating the machine
-Advising and evaluating 3rd party programmable/configurable items of equipment incorporated into our machines
You will be gaining experience designing machine control systems, working with the latest Programmable Logic Controllers from companies like Siemens and Allen Bradley, high performance servo drive systems and robots. If you possess these skills, it’s a bonus, however if not, you can develop your knowledge with us.

The company is based near Warwick on the M40 corridor in the Midlands. Salary and benefits are excellent, and will reflect your qualifications and contribution. Of course you must have a good degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, and a strong motivation to work in the field of machine design.
