We require a reader to provide support for a student with multiple disabilities including sight loss, dyslexia, and mobility difficulties. 

Duties: The student is currently on a Rehabilitation Studies course and requires assistance with research; in terms of gathering and reading information to the student from their books and journals etc for example. You will be required to work 10am-3pm every week on a Tuesday and Thursday (5 hours a day) for 30 weeks during the academic year. 

Ideally you will have the following experience/skills:
Appointment within a similar support/care role
Knowledge and understanding of research skills
Good command of the English language

Please be aware: As you will be required to supply this support in the student's own dwellings, you will need to be fully CRB checked before being able to commence this role. If you have a current CRB you will have to provide the full details of it to a Unitemps representative before being placed; and/or you will have to undertake one via Unitemps themselves as well, even if you hold a current CRB. This is potentially an ongoing position working with the same student for the next 2 years.
