The role of Telesales/ Sales Assistant is key to the companies Growth and Customer Service.
Job Summary – Key Tasks/responsibilities

Telesales experience is essential for this role

• Outgoing Proactive calls to an assigned customers base
• Work a buddy system with field sales to provide a first class service via phone
• Answer all calls within a 3 ring policy
• Provide quotations and pricing enquiries to customers Verbally or via Fax and Email
• Process customer orders taken in person, verbally, telephone, fax and email.
• Process relevant paperwork for both collection and delivery of customer orders.
• Book in all supplier deliveries on a daily basis or as and when required.
• Responsible for checking customer back orders and processing as required.
• Process on a daily basis any filing and scanning documents . Upload onto system
• Deal with any queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Responsible for having all relevant up to date price lists to enable you to complete your job requirements

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Serve customers on a face to face basis via our trade counter and showroom areas
• Cover any areas of other team members in their absence to ensure continuity to our customers.
• Raise awareness of special orders and low quantity stocked material to the purchasing Manager and monitor delivery. .
• Assist in monitoring available quantities of stocked lines within the branch and raising stock transfers where appropriate.
• Vigilant for stock damage within the branch and notification to the appropriate manager to reduce waste.
• Work is completed on time and to a satisfactory standard.
• From time to time employees may be required to take on any Adhoc duties of a similar nature in line within their level of responsibility.
The company is open Monday through Saturday and a willingness to work some Saturdays would be appreciated. (Your line Manager will approach you directly to discuss this point)
