An established restaurant requires a Head Chef with minimum 3-4 years experience. Applicant must competent, maintain authority, be able to delegate & supervise. Should be able to cook and prepare Indian/Punjabi Asian dishes/cuisines at high quality standards. Must be well organized, have good performance skills. Must be able to select, order and check necessary ingredients and spices for the respective dishes. Be able to lead and motivate staff, assist in administering catering orders and train.
Duties will include stock control, supervising kitchen assistants, maintaining cleanliness, health & safety, and hygiene of the Kitchen, add variety to the Menu. Assisting with senior management with budgeting and establishing financial targets and forecasts; monitoring spending levels; keeping financial and administrative records; monitoring the quality of the product, service and standards provided; ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service delivered. Maintain stock levels and ordering new supplies as required;
