Senior Practitioner

Organisation Description

Our client in Sale, Greater Manchester are recruiting for a Senior Clinical Practitioner to work therapeutically with young people who have sexually abusive or problematic behaviour.

Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for co-working approximately 8 cases at any one time. Duties associated with this task will include conducting therapeutic work sessions with young people and their families; liaising with carers; attending relevant professional meetings; producing written reports and records. Additionally the post holder may be requested to participate in groupwork programmes, training events, representing the organisation at professional meetings or events, or other duties as assigned

Experience of direct work with young people who sexually harm othersExperience of group workExperience of work with young people who have suffered trauma
Experience of safeguarding children workExperience of work within a child mental health serviceExperience of work with young people with intellectual disabilitiesExperience of delivering training
