Our client is a leading custom software development and electronics design company. Offering mobile device software applications, backend web server solutions, and bespoke electronic products – they work with a range of start-up to household name clients from different sectors. They are now looking to recruit a Mobile Applications Developer / Embedded Software Developer to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and technological curious Developer to work on a wide range of applications using Apple, Microsoft and Linux technology! For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to develop your software development career with a growing software and electronic consultancy.

The company’s projects range from developing a new life saving system for the RNLI – to working with Polydor records to create a world first iPhone application for the latest Snow Patrol album – which means this is an exciting company to develop your skills with.

As a Mobile Applications Developer / Embedded Software Developer you may be responsible for programming exciting applications on any of the iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian and Windows CE platforms. Opportunities also exist for working on small and large web applications.

For this position our client is looking for a Developer who can adapt to new projects and is willing to learn new skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Developer with a relevant IT degree (or equivalent),

You must also have experience in at least one of the following areas:

- developing for any mobile platform
- developing with Windows CE
- developing medium to large embedded applications

Our client also welcomes applications from high achieving IT graduates (or equivalent) who can demonstrate knowledge of, or preferably experience in the above areas. This can be from university course projects or in your own time.

As a Mobile Applications Developer / Embedded Software Developer you will also need to have drive and enthusiasm for your work, be able to talk confidently to team members and clients alike, and have a desire to learn new skills and technologies on a regular basis.
