Job Description

Importers and distributors of products, they are currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager.

Main duties involve:

- Managing the small Quality Control Department, which is responsible for ensuring suppliers comply with a host of legal requirements as well as company requirements

- Instructing suppliers on requirements and reviewing documentation supplied

- Overseeing the evaluation and screen testing of delivered stock

- Liaising with and advising colleagues on legal/standards requirements applying to the products imported

-Liaising with blue chip customer in relation to their needs and requirements

- Work with management on a range of legal obligations

Person Specification

Candidates will ideally have experience within a QC environment, preferably in the toy sector. Knowledge of appropriate consumer legislation would be an advantage.
