Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a UK Quality Manager to join this North West based company. They serve customers around the world with innovative products through a sales and marketing presence, in all major mature and development markets. 

Main duties:

- Liaise with Commercial organisation to resolve customer related quality requests
- Liaise with Regulatory to address emerging regualtions impacting product quality
- Support Operations to continuously improve products, processes, GMP and Food Safety
- Maintain local processes, systems and data related to all aspects of Quality Management
- Provide training for all QM relevant aspects for all functions
- Assure well trained, motivated, efficient, effective and supported local QM team
- Define and enforce annual objectives for the local QM team
- Participate in regional QM meetings
- Suggest regional business process improvements to increase the quality of products 
- Report monthly to regional QM and periodically to local management
- Design and maintain regional hygiene training programmes
- Guidance on food safety related questions

Person Specification

Candidates will ideally, have worked as a Quality Manager previously, for a number of years within Food Ingredients or the Food Industry, and have good business administration, and technical understanding.
