My client is a Global Professional Services organisation with offices throughout Asia Pacific and an operating revenue in the $Billions.
Their expanding Risk & Controls team, partners with clients to improve their risk profile by identifying, quantifying and managing risks associated with their business, across a range of risk disciplines including credit, market, operational, technology, governance & compliance, data analytics and forensic risk services.

Reporting into: Group Risk & Compliance
As a Credit Risk Manager you will play a key role in the group's achievement of its ambitious growth objectives in the Banking sector. The changing landscape of Risk presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager to explore and actively drive opportunities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Specifically, this role will be responsible for supporting business development, by delivering consulting engagements and leveraging your subject matter expertise to grow their capabilities in terms of intellectual property and developing junior staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager with a client service orientation to join their emerging Risk practice. Responsibilities include:
- Providing advisory services to clients in relation to credit risk strategy, compliance and policies and procedures
- End-to-end management of client engagements, from development of proposals and budgets, through to delivery and implementation of Credit Risk solutions
Actively promoting and contributing to relevant internal knowledge sharing forums and external thought leadership
Building profitable relationships with potential and existing clients that help grow the Risk business
Managing a professional and motivated team, including mentoring junior staff
Candidate Profile
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of credit risk management experience in the banking sector, preferably international experience in established banking institutions
Expertise in both process re-engineering (e.g. design and implementation of automated credit approval process) and monitoring portfolio analytics (e.g. customer segmentation, limit management)
Ability to design credit risk strategy, governance, policy & procedures
Solid understanding of end-to-end credit processes & how these support credit decisions
Quantitative modelling skills desirable
