Bank Corporate Financial Adviser role linked to Commercial Manager based from Business Centre.

Role Description

Maximise business growth and income generation through the provision of quality financial advice to existing and prospective customers of the following Bank Segments:

• iFS - Private
• iFS - Business/Agri

Satisfy customers’ financial requirements from a ranged of products as defined by Wealth Management (WM), operating at all times within the rules of the FSA and those defined by the business.

Typical Responsibilities

• Establish contact with potential customers and obtain the required information to enable a full analysis of a customer’s needs and lifestyle goals to be conducted in accordance with the know your customer requirements.

• Construct solutions using the principles of best advice relevant to the business, producing reports and recommendations to the business’ standards. Implementing financial solutions agreed with the customer.

• Ensure all administration is completed in a timely and effective manner to meet the record keeping and file quality requirements of the business.

• Support all advice with appropriate documentation as deemed necessary by the FSA and as documented in the appropriate Manuals.

• Ensure the qualitative and quantitative objectives agreed with the business are achieved.

• Develop and maintain appropriate business relationships with Bank Introducers, and in particular with Business Manager’s and Personal/Private Managers, to develop lead generation opportunities and increase sales.

• Actively seek referrals from customers.

• Operate at all times in accordance with the requirements of an Approved Person, complying with the rules of the FSA Statements of Principle and those set out in the T&C Scheme and appropriate Manuals.

• Ensure maintenance of competence by constantly reviewing own training needs and, in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and Regional Quality Manager, address those needs in a timely manner.

• On the introduction of new products within the industry, ensure training is completed in a timely manner and competence is demonstrable.

• Work within a team of Financial Planners, Regional Sales Manager and Regional Quality Manager, actively seeking to meet the common goals of the team and the wider business and to ensure increased business growth within Financial Advice through the sharing of best practice.

• Develop and maintain appropriate business relationships with Bank Introducers to develop lead generation and increase sales.

• Ensure full compliance with all Corporate standards, policies, processes and procedures and with all external legal, regulatory and voluntary code obligations, thus enabling the customer to be provided with a high quality, professional and compliant service.

• Ensure that the firm's business is conducted in compliance with the FSA Rules and
Principles, & that the firm complies with the spirit & requirement of the Codes of Conduct to which it is committed.

Essential:
• Minimum of FPC 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent.
• Role holder will have extensive sales and service experience, supported by an excellent knowledge of investment planning products and associated regulatory requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of Bank and Group products and services, and good understanding of particular segment marketing strategy.

Desirable:

• Advanced FPC or progressing towards
