Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Trading Support - Food Division
Skills: Knowledge of Japanese would be advantage but not essential, background in trading support/ Shipping
Salary: £23-25K (Depending on experience)

Major international company based in the City is seeking an efficient administrator to wor kin a trade support role.
The Role
The role would involve issuing commercial invoices, arranging payments, simple accounts and dealing with general correspondence between head office, supplier and customer
In addition, the person will be involved in providing support to futures traders including daily/monthly reconciliation against statements, communicating the daily results to Head office, issuing DR/CR notes for future profit/loss and arranging Payment /account booking of liquidation and commission
In addition, there would be some secretarial work such as making hotel reservations for visitors, expenses etc
The Person
This is a busy role in a fast-paced department, so you will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise the workload, as well as finding ways of working efficiently in order to get the job done. This is a department where seasonality comes into play, so you will need to be aware that certain periods in the year will be busier than others.
