Nudge is a trail-blazing social media marketing company. We create and produce campaigns, pages, utilities and games on social networks for brands, clients and digital agencies - we're writing the book as we go. Our current clients include Britvic, PlayStation, PhotoBox, THQ and others, as well as some we're not allowed to tell you about till you're 'in'!
We're looking for a full-time talented Web Developer to join our team in Soho, London. Salary based on skills/experience.
Skills required:
* Object-oriented PHP 5 skills and experience with a PHP framework like CodeIgniter, Zend, etc
* Strong knowledge of standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
* Javascript and understanding of AJAX techniques
* Experience using MySQL with large data sets
* Linux server knowledge
* A hands-on problem-solving approach and positive attitude
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience using the Facebook Platform (API, Connect, FBJS) and/or OpenSocial?
* Flash/Flex & Actionscript 3 experience
* Experience with version control systems (CVS, subversion, git, etc)
* Other scripting languages - Python, Perl, Ruby
Responsibilities:
* This position is focused on Facebook Platform development and engineering
* Server-side development of Social Media applications
* Client-side XHTML/FBML/CSS/Javascript
It goes without saying that you will have a passion for social-media; the ideal candidate will have notched up a few years of web-industry experience, but of course if you're talented with a portfolio to knock our socks off, then you'd be more than welcome to get in touch.
