Lead Architect - Commodities, Trading, ApplicationsMy London based petrochemical company requires an experienced Architect with significant experience of working across front to back office in a commodities trading environment, designing application modules and seeing them through to delivery as the design authority. The candidate will have significant experience across the design and development environment spectrum, including excellent business understanding, development methodologies, toolsets, change management, quality control, problem solving and resolution and leadership by example.All Architects will require the following experience• Good functional understanding of commodity trading markets (Ideally gas, power and emissions)• Extensive experience of systems design within an Investment Bank or Energy Trading organisation.• Knowledge of systems landscape pertinent to commodity trading organisations• Functional knowledge of front to back office trading business processes for at least one commodity• Experience directing technical staff• Ability to use technology to drive business benefit• Good understanding of software development lifecycle.Please apply for more details.
