Our NHS client is looking for not only a Computer Auditor, but also an individual who thinks quick on their feet, emulates intelligence, with working to the best of their professional capacity in helping to ensure that targets are met.
A bit of background information:
You'll be asked to Perform a wide range of computer audit work, up to the issue of draft reports. Deliver audit work to budget, deadlines and quality. This often requires working on several jobs at different clients in parallel.
Assist the Computer Audit Manager in the planning and delivery of Computer Audit work, taking responsibility for specific clients, and assist in the management and direction of the Computer Audit team.
Your specific tasks will include some of the following:
1. Assist the Computer Audit Manager in the overall performance of the computer audit plans, and the formulation of annual audit programmes in accordance with client strategic plans.
2. Manage the computer audit service provided to one or more audit clients as required, in conjunction with the Computer Audit Manager.
3. Advise the Computer Audit Manager of key operational issues affecting strategic computer audit planning and monitoring.
4. In conjunction with the Computer Audit Manager, and where appropriate, research computer audit issues, e.g. in respect of computer law, NHS policy and audit practice.
5. Liaise with managers of information and technology at clients, where appropriate, to plan and deliver an effective computer audit service and ensure it meets the clients’ needs and legitimate expectations.
6. Plan computer audits, and be responsible for the production of individual audit planning memoranda and other planning documentation as required.
7. Direct computer auditors, where appropriate, in the completion of individual audit assignments, monitoring their progress, ensuring that assignments are completed within budget and supporting computer auditors in meetings with client line managers where necessary.
Our NHS client will expect the following expertise as a minimum:
Systems auditing and understanding of ascertaining and recording systems through ICQs, flowcharts and notes, systems evaluation and testing, statistical sampling, data interrogation and risk analysis.
Those with NHS experience will take precedence over those without it.
Start Date: Immediate
Day Rate: £250 - £300 Per Day
Based in London, Birmingham and other surrounding areas.
