In this role you will take responsibility for preparing and cooking of assorted authentic Asian (methai) sweets including Rasgullah, Kaju Khatri, Gulab Jaman, Jalebi, Kheer, Gajar Halwa, Suji Halwa, Kulfi and Falooda.
Must be well organised, knowledge of mixing, preparing and displaying and packing of sweets. Must be able to select, order and check necessary ingredients for respective sweet products. Must be able to lead and motivate staff, administer sweet orders and train. Duties will also include stock control, supervising kitchen assistant, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and formulating menus, taking account of cost and food availability.
To maintain the highest possible standard of food preparation, presentation and service in accordance with Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations, a fully sponsored Food Safety Certificate Course/Refresher Course will be offered to the selected employee.
