Biomedical Scientist- Histology

Mediplacements currently require a Biomedical Scientist 1 Histology for an ongoing position in London.

The successful Biomedical Scientist will work alongside a friendly team in a busy Histopathology laboratory. You will need to be reliable conscientious with HPC Registration and solid post grad experience.

Essential Experience and Requirements
-Special Stains
-Cut 70 blocks per hour
-Perform routine Histology procedures
-Self Manage Performance in a high pressure/high volume environment
-Handle non-routine specimens with specificity and urgency
-Maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety
-Prepare and/or utilise all relevant equipment including personal protective equipment
-Troubleshoot problems including inadequate fixation, specimen orientation
-Administrative duties

-£21-£26 ph
-Start Date ASAP
-Ongoing Contract
-Full time hours
