An exciting opportunity has arisen for A Skills & Employment Adviser who is responsible for the attraction, diagnostic, development of learning plans to progress beneficiaries to achieve qualifications and Job outcomes. A Skills & Employment Adviser will use a variety of techniques including effective diagnosis, individual and group coaching, to progress learning. A Skills & Employment Adviser will work towards strict targets and guidelines in accordance with programme obligations our process.

? Raises awareness of the value of Reed in Partnership services and the services of our partners to fully utilise the beneficiaries support options;
? Builds relationships with Personal Advisers, Learndirect, Train to Gain Skills brokers and providers, LEP networks, maintaining regular telephone/face-to-face contact;
? Supports the Recruitment Manager to identify employer opportunities reference Work Trial;
? Completes Beneficiary documentation and updates CRM system.

? Engages the beneficiary and outlines the support provided by the programme;
? Conducts a diagnostic and IAG review that is unique to the beneficiary and clearly demonstrates impact measures;
? Outlines the beneficiary "customer" charter and the beneficiary journey;
? Develops a learning plan that reflects the beneficiary need that the beneficiary agrees to.
? Supports the learner to collate evidence towards a NvQ.
? The learning plans developed offer a broad range of learning solutions from a variety of relevant sources.

? Researches with the beneficiary the most suitable sectors based on skills and knowledge to date;
? Ensures the beneficiary is "work trial" ready and committed to the work trial experience;
? Ensures the beneficiary's learning plan state experience/knowledge that needs to be developed as part of the work trial experience;
? Helps to update the beneficiaries CV after work trial;
? Reviews the effectiveness of work trial and identifies additional learning/barrier support as required.


Essential Attainments:

? Experience of working in the learning & development sector
? Understanding of publicly funding learning solutions and the ability to provide advice to identify the appropriate product for the customer.
? Understanding of NVQs , Skills for Life & Apprenticeships qualification frameworks.
? Experience of completing an organisation and/or individual training needs analysis.
