The role of the Telesales Executive is to be constantly seeking prospective new clients while maintaining satisfaction among existing clients. Apart from following up on campaigns with warm calls and upselling to existing clients,the Telesales executive is responsible for developing new business by cold calling and using their own initiative in generating business for the company. They will be targeting high volume low ticket priced accounts that the field sales team would not be expected to cover.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Ensuring that existing accounts are in contract with Class/renegotiating new contracts.
· Promoting additional products to existing customers (upselling)
· Updating contact data with customers
· Managing customer enquiries
· Managing new sales leads
Key Skills: Essential
· Ability to communicate professionally at all levels
· Comfortable with prioritising tasks and management of time
· Proactive and self-motivational approach to ‘cold calling’
· Good speaking voice and phone manner
Desirable
· Any telephone based sales experience
· Any telecoms experience
· Any service level experience in a technology industry
·
