Trainee Claims Advisor

Fantastic 12 month fixed-term contracts to work for a leading financial organisation based in Copley in Halifax.

In the Claims Adviser role you will be aiming to settle claims in the most cost effective manner whilst delivering excellent customer service to our policyholders.

You will be part of a team of professional claims handlers who manage household insurance claims from registration to settlement. Your role will specialise in progressing buildings and contents claims to final settlement ensuring a fair, efficient and cost effective resolution.

This will involve communicating with and responding to policyholders and suppliers to investigate and settle claims within your agreed authority limit and also claims over this limit when pre-authorised by a Claims Consultant or Personal Claims Consultant.

If you have strong customer service skills, are highly organised, have experience in dealing with challenging situations and thrive under pressure, this could be just what you're looking for.

Training is held over Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. Once training is completed you will then work 35 hours each week during the opening hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 5pm.
