FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (QUALIFIED)

Job Description

This role reports to the Financial Accountant, and is a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls.

You will be involved in;

• Assisting with the production of accurate financial accounting information
• Internal and external reporting
• Tax compliance and reporting
• Providing management accounting commentary
• Developing and maintaining a strong internal control framework
• Providing expertise on UK GAAP and IFRS matters
• Liaising with Senior Managers, intercompany staff, and external agencies, maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Providing technical support and coaching to junior and transactional staff
• Playing a key role in various finance projects. 

Person Specification

This role would suit a confident, newly qualified Accountant looking to play a pivotal role in within a busy and progressive corporate finance team. 

This would suit an individual looking to make their first move into industry, as demonstrating commitment and success in this role will offer progressive career opportunities within this multi-national group.

You should have an excellent eye for detail, as well as logical, problem-solving skills and a ’roll sleeves up’ attitude. Experience of leading a small team would be advantageous as you may be involved in taking a lead on various projects when required.
