Job Description

Co-ordination and provision of capital modelling analysis for managed syndicates

MAIN DUTIES
Assistance in the preparation of Individual Capital Assessments (ICAs) for managed syndicates. 
Assist in development of Solvency II framework for managed syndicates.
Parameterisation of models and data analysis to support modelling work
Interpretation and presentation of modelled results to syndicate management, the client’s management and third party capital providers.
Provide support to managed syndicates in optimising the reinsurance/capital mix and in structuring reinsurance programmes.
Provide support to managed syndicates and the insurance group in optimising investment strategy.
Provide support to managed syndicates in assessing the capital implications of new business opportunities or of divestments.



Person Specification

Progressing well through the Actuarial qualifications, senior student to newly qualified

Desirable: Capital modelling experience.
                     Lloyd’s of London experience
