£110 PER DAY  FIELD ENGINEER - 2 WEEK PROJECT (With possibility of ongoing work)

Main Purpose of Role
To Carry out Moves, Additions, Decommissions, changes & Project work on IT equipment at client sites.

Key Accountabilities
• To carry out installations, moves and decommissions of all Desktop IT equipment including Servers, PC’s, PC Hardware, Printers and other peripheral devices on client sites within the given area.
• To comply with company and customer procedures for escalating issues on site, both technical and client related.
• To complete all relevant administration and paperwork associated with the role.
• To ensure quality of installation and processes are maintained at all times.
• To ensure stock records are accurate and up-to-date.
• To deal with Clients at all levels in a professional manner.
• Work closely with scheduling team to resolve issues and where appropriate escalate to Regional Manager.

Key Performance Measures/Indicators
• Work is carried out to meet Client requirements and Service Level Agreement.
• Work is undertaken is as per contract requirements.
• Carry out work in accordance with written and verbal instructions.
• Participation in training to obtain the necessary training/qualifications and skills.
• All work undertaken is correctly documented for monitoring purposes.
• All given tasks are completed within given timescales.
• All administration tasks are completed within given time scales.
• No negative feedback from customers.
• Achieving agreed personal and role objectives, measured by independent metrics on each objective.

Job Environment
• Regionally based Field role.
• Required to visit client sites within your given area

Qualifications
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent Relevant IT Qualification and/or the relevant experience.

Skills
• Ability to carry out specific tasks with minimum of supervision.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
• Awareness of customer care.
• Good communicator with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work with other team members.
• Awareness of customer care.
Experience
• Minimum of 1 years experience in an IT role.
• Experience of working in a field based role.

Person Specification
• Must hold a valid driving Licence and willing to use own vehicle
• Willing to travel
• A team player with a willingness to assist colleagues.
• Flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow instruction.
• Reliable and punctual.
• As a representative of Lantec UK you will be expected to be smartly dressed and project a professional image at all times.
• Good presentation and a courteous, professional manner.
• Motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to learn.
• High customer focus.
• Must be have access to a home PC which is capable or sending/receiving e-mails.

Specific job requirements
• Requires Personal Employment Screening (PES) – minimum 2 years worth of consecutive references will be obtained
• Must be able to supply valid right to work documentation (valid passport or a birth certificate and proof on National Insurance number)
• Must be able to supply a utility bill as proof of residence.
• Must be registered on the electoral role at your current address
• A credit check will be carried out to ensure you have no active CCJ’s
• A Scottish Disclosure will be carried out to ensure you have no unspent convictions.
• Financial Database check will be carried out to ensure you have not been financially sanctioned by the Bank Of England.
