My client is a large national children's charity who are now looking for a Fundraising Co-ordinator to join their busy team.
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for supporting fundraising managers within the South Region with administration, data in-putting, banking, donor care and support, promoting national and local fundraising events.
Your main duties will be as follows:-
• To enter donor information on to the database, code invoices and appropriately thank supporter donations
• To bank, code and record income
• To work with other team members to ensure good communication across the department and organisation
• To recruit, inspire, motivate and manage office & field based volunteers in support of their work
• To assist in recruiting participants for events and campaigns using the telephone, letters and other marketing materials distribution
• To inspire, motivate and support participants for all Challenge events
• To understand and market the charities services
• To undertake other special projects as directed by the Regional Fundraising Manager
• To become a database super user or web champion as appropriate for the charity & your team
It is essential that you have experience of dealing with the public in person and over the telephone, experience of working in a customer focused environment, experience of secretarial and administrative duties and you MUST have a driving licence.
