A biological hi-tech enterprise with international reputation mainly focuses upon the tissue array, gene microarray and molecular pathological services. We are looking for 1 or 2 marketing development managers to expand our business in UK and European countries.
The role: The sale manager will be responsible for the market expanding and for the sales of tissue microarrays, gene microarrays, biomedical research instruments and molecular pathological services. The manager is responsible for both new business and account management on his territory with significant focus on visiting clients and aligning them with the company. Key contacts will include R&D of pharmaceutical industries and academic institutes. The role is home based and will require significant travel and some nights away from home to ensure the territory is effectively managed.
Applicants: Applicants for this position will have either previous sale experience in biomedical products or good contacts with pharmaceutical industries and academic research institutes. it is key that the appointed person is hard working, self motivated, ethical and able to develop strong working relationships with R&D in a variety environments.
Based in Birmingham, able to travel within UK. Training provided.
18-28K Basic salary/ commission/ excellent package including car corporate benefits/ bonus
