Stress is the body’s reaction to changes since adjusting and transitioning are a part of life and is almost always stressful, thus we can say that stress is a normal part of life. Stress can be positive and negative and every individual should know how to manage stress since our body reacts to stress physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Negative stress impacts our health and can lead us to make the wrong decisions which can result to more problems and even harm.

At the end of this course, students shall learn how to: (1) understand stress management; (2) comprehend the concept of an internal environment and homeostasis; (3) be familiar with basic anatomy and physiology; (4) be aware of symptoms of stress; (5) understand the coping process; (6) manage stress skills and techniques; (7) be familiar with relaxation and stress; (8) understand nutrition; (9) build self-esteem; and (10) set goals and manage time.
To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
Learn how to recognize stress and how to identify what causes the stress and how you should react to it, for there are things that you do not need to fret about but do, causing undue hardship on yourself.

Course Format
This course is divided into several modules and is delivered online through our interactive learning management system. Students are given access to the learning portal where they can access the course 24/7. This gives them complete control over the pace of their learning while also enabling them to study from home, in their offices or from a laptop while traveling.
Course Duration:
Normative or minimum period of study to complete this is 35 hours. Take note that this is only an estimate. The duration of completing the course still depends on the learner’s pace and ability to absorb information.
