Change your attitude towards money and learn how to make savings to manage your money better. Have a look into credit, the different types, and the cost of borrowing, including the dangers of what happens if you miss payments.

Section 2: Applying methods for personal money management

Work out which daily methods suit you best by exploring the different ways to save. Understand what you actually get on pay day after tax and national insurance, and what additions or deductions are there.

Section 3: Planning for and financing a significant expenditure

This section has been developed to help you get things you never thought you could afford. You will highlight something you have wanted to buy and the course will help you find the best way you can purchase it, including how you will finance it and which purchase protection to go for.

Completed online with auto-marked assessments, this programme can be completed in your own time.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
