The Author:

Libby Seery is a psychotherapist, counsellor and therapeutic life coach who specialises in the therapeutic use of technology. She is the founder of the Renaissance Life Therapies Training Academy, an online school offering a bespoke learning experience.

Libby runs a world-recognised practice in Harley Street, London, and practises both in person and online. She is published in her own right, and supervises the training of other doctors and therapists in areas of counselling and self-development. Her work has given her the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, including referrals from charities and high profile global clients.

Section 1: Coaching, Counselling, Consulting & Mentoring

Unit 1.1 - Introduction

Launch your understanding of Life Coaching by identifying the difference types of talking therapies and their methods.

Section 2: The Basics

Unit 2.1 - Key Responsibilities

As a Life Coach, you hold a number of responsibilities determined and demonstrated by this unit.

Unit 2.2 - Listening and Questioning

Understand how Listening and Questioning are key to understanding and the coaching model.

Section 3: Coaching Models & Communication

Unit 3.1 - Coaching Models

The Coaching Models unit identifies the T-GROW and SMART coaching models as necessary to Life Coaching.

Unit 3.2 - Communication

Good communication achieve rapport and furthers the relationship a Life Coach has with their client.

Unit 3.3 - Passive Aggressive Assertive Communication

This unit teaches you how to identify difference kinds of communication, and how to approach passive, aggressive, and assertive styles.

Section 4: It's Up To You

Unit 4.1 - Feedback

Feedback is the key to improving your performance. Learn how to provide accurate feedback in this unit.

Unit 4.2 - Toolkit

This toolkit contains resources you need to perform well as a Life Coach, including the Wheel of Life.

Section 5: Course Ending

Unit 5.1 - Administration

This unit contains the Coaching Log and Agreement, as well as the Data Protection Act.

Unit 5.2 - Conclusion

Conclude what you have learned about Life Coaching, its practises, expectations, and standards.
