It starts out with an introduction to the subject of classroom delivery, and progresses to effective communication in education and motivational factors in learning and how they can be applied in education. It also goes over stress management in the classroom and how to properly deal with students’ conflicts and misconducts using a variety of techniques. Finally, it touches upon the topics of mediation and negotiation in different student groups.

Description

The primary goal of this course is to explain the importance of communication within the educational setting and how it can be enhanced to benefit both students and teachers. It also aims to develop or build on the classroom delivery skills of would-be or practicing teachers, so as to improve student learning and become more receptive about the needs of students encountering learning difficulties.

The course is integrated with interactive materials, allowing for better presentation of the topics discussed within. Students shall undergo assessments throughout the duration of the course to check their progress and ensure knowledge retention.
