Based on the very latest version of Microsoft 365 covering Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. This Office IT Essentials course is accredited by the CPD Certification Service. The course covers the 4 main MS Office programs and in all 4 cases we start at "beginner" level and build your knowledge to an intermediate level allowing you to use these applications competently in a modern office environment.
Access to the course is via our intuitive yet powerful online learning portal and we provide tutor support throughout. Each topic is split into a series of lessons which gradually build your knowledge. There are regular Tutor Marked Exercises and Quizzes along the way to help you consolidate your learning and track your progress.
Students typically finish in around 6 to 8 weeks but you will have access to your course material via the learning portal for up to 12 months and tutor support is available throughout the course.

We provide tutor support with this course and there is more detail about what it covers below. Each topic is split into a series of lessons which gradually build your knowledge. PowerPoint:
- Creating multi-slide presentations
- Using Styles and Templates to speed up production
- Inserting and editing Images and Objects to add interest (a picture speaks a thousand words!)
- Using Animations and Transitions to bring your presentation to life
- Adding speaker notes and Printing
Outlook:
- Sending & Receiving in Outlook
- Formatting emails
- Folders, rules and flags to improve your productivity
- Contacts
- Calendar, Tasks and Appointments
WORD:
- Entering and editing text
- Formatting text and pages
- Creating and editing Tables and Fields
- Inserting images and other objects
- Linking documents
- Using columns
- Printing
You will have access to the course for 6 months and students typically complete it within 6 to 8 weeks.
