Overview

Office Concierge is London’s leading Reception Management company. We are directly responsible for managing the Reception desks of over 220 major London Offices, including iconic buildings as Heron Tower, 30 St Mary Axe (AKA The Gherkin)

Our team of 500 Receptionists are experts in delivering a 5 star hotel customer service because they have graduated from the OC Training Academy – London’s only corporate receptionist finishing school.

The Office Concierge Training Academy is now offering a 1 day ‘Open Course’ for aspiring and experienced corporate receptionists who are looking to enhance their reception management knowledge and skills. Our team of in house expert trainers will educate you on how to deliver the Office Concierge visitor experience, provide vital tips for interviews, and help you make the next step in your reception career.

Our training is unique because 'we practice what we teach'. Our courses constantly evolve through the "intelligence" we glean on a daily basis from our 500 receptionists working at over 220 client buildings, who deliver more than 5 million "welcomes" each year!

We have a maximum of 8 per class to ensure an intimate learning environment, and cater for both experienced and aspiring receptionists. We offer participants a detailed pre-course questionnaire to ensure we target the skills and areas you are looking to develop. We also provide a post course follow up report, written by the trainer, which you can use as a reference for future job applications.

The training is based at within our dedicated Training Academy at Office Concierge Head Office, in Marylebone, just a short walk from both Oxford Circus & Bond Street underground stations.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
