As a make-up artist your job would be to create an individual look for your clients. This could include natural looks through to more complicated looks and special effects. The work involves creating images and characters through the medium of make-up, hairstyles and prosthetics in accordance with a brief.

The Distance Learning Make-up Artist course has been developed to help you gain the necessary skills to become a Make-up Artist, learning how to provide facial treatments, apply make-up and carry out eyebrow and eyelash treatments. You will also discover how to provide make-up treatments for beauty salons, weddings, fashion photography and theatre.

Most Make-up Artists work freelance for a number of clients which means you can work flexible hours whilst building your portfolio of clients.

Hi Alice The Make-up Artist Level 3 course is suitable for participants who wish to work as a Make-up Artist on a self-employed basis. Your course will cover everything you need to know and you will be required to complete practicals and submit photographic evidence.
