MSc Management with Project Management

Overview

Our MSc Management with Project Management programme provides you with the skills and competencies you need to manage effectively in business today, combined with specialist knowledge and skills in project management.Our specialist Project Management Masters will develop both your theoretical and practical project management skills. You will look at multiple theories of Organisations and Project Management and the influence these various theories and models have on our understanding of human behaviour, leadership, organisational effectiveness and sustainability. You will also develop your practical project management skills, including building business cases and risk assessment.

Description

Our MSc Management with Project Management programme consists of 7 core modules which will equip you with the knowledge and skills that are fundamental to management practice including Leadership and Change Management, Markets and Marketing, Accounting and Decision Making and Operations Management and Services Excellence. In your second term you begin to specialise in project management with the study of the Fundamentals of Project Management. Your specialist studies continue in the third term when you will look at Project Management Best Practice Frameworks and Organisations and Project Management alongside a consultancy project or work placement designed to showcase how you can apply the skills and knowledge you have developed during the programme.

Requirements

You will need: (a) A 2:2 Honours degree from a recognised university or the equivalent international qualification; OR (b) An acceptable professional qualification equivalent; OR (c) An acceptable professional qualification equivalent such as the CMI, ILM at level 6 or above
