While the courses can be run on an Apple Macs using software such as Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop 7, VMware fusion or CrossOver Mac, we cannot support any issues that may occur with PC-Based software running on a Mac.

Assessment

To earn the MOS certification you must sit all 5 separate examinations, corresponding to each different software application:

  • MOS Word 2013 Course (Exam No. 77-418)
  • MOS Excel 2013 Course (Exam No. 77-420)
  • MOS PowerPoint 2013 Course (Exam No. 77-422)
  • MOS Outlook 2013 Course (Exam No. 77-423)
  • MOS Access 2013 Course (Exam No. 77-424)


The exams are in a multiple choice/multiple answer format. They must be sat at a registered Certiport testing centre. You can locate testing centres and schedule exam appointments via Prodigy UK, where you can also buy exam vouchers for £65.00.

Please note that you may be charged by the exam centre an additional proctoring fee of approximately £20 (each) for sitting the exams.

On successful completion of each of these five courses you will be able to apply for the relevant Microsoft MOS Examinations (five exams in total, one for each of the individual software packages). You must pass the examinations in order to gain the certifications.
