We run three programmes each year in February, May and September. Contact us to get the latest dates and application deadlines.

How is the programme taught?

The programme is made up of a series of facilitated seminars, led by a fully accredited lecturer. There is approximately 24 hours of taught content per module and students are expected to invest equal time on self-directed learning and reading.

Are there any pre-requisites?

This is an Applied Master’s programme, designed and delivered for professionals who work within projects as part of their role. For this reason, an undergraduate degree is not a requirement however you do need to have at least two years of relevant industry experience.

Where is the programme delivered?

The programme is delivered in our state-of-the-art training centre International House, located in St Katharine Docks, next to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, making it easily accessible for all of our delegates.

What support is available?

Our MA in Applied Project Management is a truly blended learning programme offering extensive student support in and outside of the classroom. We have a dedicated delegate support team available to assist you throughout your studying and arrange one-to-one sessions with our experienced faculty.

As a member of Northumbria University you also gain access to their student systems including Blackboard, the university library and access to Nora journal articles.

How will I be assessed?

Designed to allow you to fit your studies around your working life, the programme is assessed through modular assignments and a dissertation spread over the two years. There are no examinations.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
