Overview

This course teaches how to use FrameMaker in standard (unstructured) mode. Delegates learn a wide range of techniques for generating cohesive and consistent printed documents including:

  • Producing books comprised of multiple documents.
  • Generating a table of contents.
  • Generating an index.
  • Inserting cross-references

Following FrameMaker training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-course issues.

Who is this course for?

Newcomers to FrameMaker and novice FrameMaker users. Training is designed for the busy professional, being short and intensive and combining lecture and demonstration. Practical exercises carried out under guidance help delegates to learn the techniques taught.

Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss specific requirements with the trainer.

Requirements

Delegates should understand basic Windows skills and have experience using a word processor such as Microsoft Word.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
