Overview

The Pearson Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND online distance learning course in Business is recognised as being equivalent to the first two years of a UK degree. After 1 year of extra study, with entry into the 3rd and final year 3 at a UK, European or International university, it can become a BA Honours Degree. The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND in Business is a qualification with a minimum of 240 credits of which 125 are mandatory core. The HND has 16 units.

The course is ideal for those who would like to gain the first two years of a Business Management Degree, and then move onto a 1 year top up at University to gain a full degree.  The HND courses is also ideal for  managers who need a sound understanding of essential business  and  management activities and  or a qualification that is highly respected by employers in all sectors, or managers who need a degree level business qualification.

Description

The HND in Business has 16 units. Duration 24 months. Approximately 5 to 10 hours a week of Self Study. Course Content: Business Environment, Managing Financial Resources and Decisions, Organisations and Behaviour, Marketing, Aspects of Contract and Negligence for Business, Business Decision Making, Business Strategy, Research Project, Personal and Professional Development, Human Resource Management, Managing Human Resources, Working with and Leading People, Quality Management in Business,Project Management for Business, Business Ethics, Corporate Environmental and Social Management. Assessment is one assignment per unit. There are no examinations.
