What's more, because the distance learning Level 3 Health & Safety course is a fully comprehensive course, no prior knowledge is required.
What is Health and Safety?
You will find that the two terms are put together as a matter of course in most people’s minds but it is important to remember that they are in fact two separate concepts:
Health – The protection of the bodies and minds of people from illness resulting from the materials, processes or procedures in the workplace.
Safety – The protection of people from physical injury.
The borderline between health and safety is ill defined and the two words are often used together to indicate concern for the physical and mental well being of the individual at the place of work.
