In ordert to be successful in any given field an individual has to understand the skills necessary to accomplish tasks to be fulfilled. Every role in an organization poses many differenet challenges and it is best to take the step to gain a full understanding of the tasks and possible challenges to be ready or better yet be equipped with skills in knowing how to prevent or minimise problems.
Communicating effectively is essential in any organization it is one of the key skills of an executive officer, other responsibilities entails providing executive and administrative support. The executive officer position requires high responsibility levels.
At the end of this course, students shall learn how to: (1) understand executive office skills; (2) be familiar with administration; (3) manage projects; (4) communicate effectively; and (5) train admins.
To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
Executive office skills also includes preparing and organizing reports, letters, presentations and other office documents, in an event that there will be conflicting priorities, another key skill to develop is to be able to multitask and balance those duties to make sure that deadlines especially for key projects will be met.
