Description

Managing an event is a demanding task that requires you to become an expert on a lot of things, including planning, organising, budgeting, etc. Through this course you will learn how event planning ensues, the types of events you can plan and manage and the tasks and responsibilities you need to take on to pull together a successful event. You will also be introduced to the process, logistics and risks of events, and learn how to select a venue, deal with providers, come to terms with costs, scout the right staff and plan for safety. Tips related to event management are also scattered liberally across the course to help you become effective on the job.
