Overview
This unit aims to raise awareness of Equality & Diversity and encourage learners to take a proactive approach within the workplace. Equality and Diversity can be compromised by your own values, opinions, and prejudices and this course explores how prejudices develop and how they may influence people. Learners will gain an awareness of discriminatory practice and gain knowledge on how to promote equal opportunities for all and recognise the value of diversity.

By the end of this course, learners will gain a greater appreciation of equality and Diversity and what it means in practice.
You will gain an understanding of individual needs and how to respect individual needs.
You will look at equality & diversity and the law.
You will assess factors essential to promoting equality & diversity.
