The CIW JavaScript Specialist course teaches developers how to use the features of the JavaScript language to design client-side, platform-independent solutions. Candidates who also have the CIW Perl Specialist certification and the CIW Database Design Specialist certification earn the advanced CIW Web Development Professional certification in addition.

Assessments

The CIW JavaScript Specialist course prepares candidates to take the CIW JavaScript Specialist exam, which if passed earns the individual the CIW JavaScript Specialist certification. CIW courses are examined in either a Pearson VUE or Prometric test centre and candidates must apply for their examinations and pay the necessary fee of £90 to sit the test.
