The qualification is available nationally through CIPD Flexible Learning+, the enhanced flexible learning programme from the CIPD's own learning arm. The learner support elements of the programme are provided DPG and MOL who are leading CIPD qualification providers selected by CIPD's learning arm to deliver CIPD Flexible Learning+ programmes. As a result, the fees will vary according to learning provider.

The CIPD Level 7 Advanced Certificate
For people who want to focus specifically on one area of study (HR or L&D), the Certificate takes approximately one year to complete. Successful completion leads to Associate membership (Assoc CIPD) of the CIPD.

The CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma
The Diploma requires around two year's study.  Successful completion provides you with the knowledge required to work towards upgrading to CIPD Chartered membership.

Core modules

The following modules provide the core content of the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Certificate and Diploma in HR Management
• Human Resource Management in Context
• Leading, Managing and Developing People
• Developing Skills for Business Leadership
• Investigating a Business Issue from an HR perspective.

Optional modules

 The following are the optional modules in the HR Management stream.
• Leadership and Management Development
• Resourcing and Talent Management
• Reward Management
• Managing employee relations
• Employment law.

To gain the Certificate, you successfully complete four of these modules. To gain the Diploma, you must successfully complete all four core modules and four optional modules.

Who is this course for?

The good news is that you don’t necessarily need any academic qualifications to study for a CIPD Level 7 Advanced qualification with CIPD Flexible Learning+. We'll give you all the support you need as you progress through your studies, so don't worry if you haven't studied for a while. You do not need to have completed a level 3 Foundation or level 5 Intermediate CIPD qualifications to enrol.

Our only criterion is that you have the ability to benefit from and contribute to the programme. To explore this, you’ll have a telephone interview with your chosen centre after you apply to do the programme.

This programme is for you if you are an HR professional, or have responsibility for HR and are seeking to enhance and develop your career.

If you've already studied for part of the qualification somewhere else, it's easy to switch to our programme to complete your learning.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
