Chartered Financial Analyst Level I
College of North West London
Summary
Overview
Description
Invest in your finance or investment career with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 qualification, the first stage of the internationally recognised CFA certification programme. You’re already a savvy professional however, to soar to greater heights in your career, you need to work through the three stages of accreditation to ultimately become a member of the CFA charter and gain the competitive edge over your non CFA accredited peers.
Is it Right for Me?
Yes, if you’re an ambitious, go-getting investment professional looking to take yourself to the next level in your professional achievements. CFA certification is also popular with non-investment professionals looking to broaden their knowledge and expertise, career changers and students with ambitions to move ahead in investment or finance.
In order to enroll, you must have or be in the final year of a BA degree or equivalent or have four years professional work experience (which doesn’t have to be in investment) or have gained a combination of full time professional and college experience that totals four years. All candidates must also hold a valid international passport. These flexible enrollment criteria mean you may be eligible to enroll even if you thought you weren’t. Even better, you may be eligible for a CFA Institute Access Scholarship which helps 2500 candidates with fees or an Awareness Scholarship which does the same for those in the world of higher education.
