This is a 2 day course.

By attending this course, you will learn how to successfully overcome the time, distance, cultural and communication barriers that create complexity in remote team management. You will enhance your leadership ability and know how to position yourself as a 21st century leader with the skills, confidence and track record of a successful leader of international teams.

Description

By attending this course, participants will:

  • Understand what makes an effective remote team;
  • Learn how to get the most out of their team from a distance;
  • Explore methods of keeping the team focused on the local operational job whilst remaining loyal to the strategic intent of the broader organisation;
  • Stay current with best practices on how to manage a remote team;
  • Build their confidence and ability in leading a remote team and achieving results through their remote team members; and
  • Learn how to use tools, templates and techniques to help them in their role as a distance manager.

 

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years of relevant business experience and the drive to develop your skills even further
  • While there are no IELTS or English language requirements, please be aware that the courses are taught in English

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
