Career in Trading

Comprehensive 3 month course created to prepare you for a career in trading. We teach you about trading the various markets including foreign exchange, commodities and stock indices from the ground up. The course has been designed based on a similar structure to how major financial institutions educate their traders. The training is provided in different stages to guide you through the learning process to reach the target of trading on a professional level.

During the course, you will have a team of mentors, including partners within the firm, with extensive experience trading the markets, supporting you during each stage of the training. This support plays a key part in helping you to realise your full potential as a trader – it amounts to having somebody there to hold your hand and give you invaluable advice as you launch your new career in trading.

Course Content
The course will combine fundamental and technical analysis to the market whilst applying risk management and psychology.

Month 1 Course Content:

• Fixed income

• Data analysis on economic numbers

Month 2 Course Content:

• Roles of central banks
• Trends and trading patterns
• Fibonacci analysis
• Different types of trading strategies
• MACD and histogram
• Oscillators – relative strength index, ADX, Stochastic
• Bollinger bands
• Ichimoku Kinko Hyo
• Creating a trading model/strategy
• Advanced psychology

Month 3 Course Content:

• Applying advanced risk management and psychology
• Implementing trading strategy & model
• Algorithmic trading

Study Mode

In-house on our trading floor

Have your own full-time trading desk within our team of successful traders the Savi’s trading floor in the heart of the city. Our head traders will run regular academic lectures this will be combined with on-going live trading sessions. You will benefit from face-to-face interaction and mentorship by expert traders throughout the programme.

Blended

Students enrolled on the blended programme have full access to the interactive trading platform, but can also choose to attend part of the course on the Savi Trading floor.

Remotely

We currently have remote traders in various locations including China, Australia and Brazil. Traders can log in via Skype as the course lectures are taking place and will also have full access to the interactive trading floor and course content.

Graduate Opportunities

Savi Trading have a finite number of places on their programme for high calibre graduates, who have graduated within the past 24 months. This is a great opportunity to start building a career within the trading industry.

Successful applicants will receive a desk on our trading floor and the opportunity to trade company funds. During your time with Savi you will be expected to pay a desk fee, however this will be provided at a significant graduate discount. To qualify as a graduate applicant, you will need to have graduated within the last 24 months and meet the following minimum requirements:

This course has been designed course to offer the best quality, one to one fast-paced learning experience. By the end of this program, candidates will understand about different asset classes, how to use our risk management systems, and should be psychologically ready to progress to trade profitably by following the strategies we taught them.

The main requirements that we look for when looking to take on a trainee trader would be for the individual to have interest in the markets and also be passionate about making a career within the industry.

We need people that are driven and willing to succeed but also have an analytical decisive mind.

You are given the opportunity to learn how to become a successful trader and learn how to operate in the markets.

This will allow yourself to become a risk managed efficient trader opening many doors for a future career within the Financial sector. The individual will be taught in a way in which will allow them to work on a commission bases as well as prospering for promotions in the future.
