Are there any requirements?
To enrol on the course, students are required to have a suitable competence in a marketing or marketing communications related role, any recognised UK degree or equivalent level 5 qualification, a relevant level 3 or above qualification.
What skills will I gain?
- How to refine your thinking and planning abilities by understanding the tools and the link between marketing and communications, in both its traditional and digital forms, and key stages in digital development.
- An understanding of how to communicate using the tools of the digital communications mix; evaluate, measure and monitor the campaigns that they are used in; and confidently recommend improvements.
- The key factors involved with the implementation, measurement and evaluation of successful digital marketing campaigns through: understanding and analysing key stages and channels; appraising planning approaches and influential internal and external factors in your marketing environment; and reviewing the similarities and differences between online and traditional marketing concepts and applications.
- Ways to respond to changing behaviours and expectations through an understanding of the emerging buyer behaviour and the importance of target marketing for an online consumer.
- How to apply relevant tools and concepts to design, measure and monitor and annual online marketing plan.
