This nationally accredited Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care Level 3 home study course is designed to be studied independently or as a follow on from Level 2 and aims to develop knowledge and understanding of a range of topics fundamental to working in adult social care.

- Promote good practice in handling information in health and social care settings
There are three pathways to select from as below. Students are required to select their preferred route after enrolment. A member of the college support team will contact you shortly after you enrol to confirm your chosen route.

Assessments:
All students on this course will be registered to a personal tutor for 12 months who is contactable via email through our student portal. We also have a team of dedicated advisors to help and advise with any course related queries. The tutors role is to help and support students for the entire duration of their studies. Please remember our tutors are here to help. Never be embarrassed to ask for help.
This course is completed using a combination of home based theory assignments, allowing your tutor to closely monitor your progress every step of the way plus additional practical tasks to be carried out within the workplace. A qualified assessor will arrange to visit your workplace as and when the course dictates.
Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at students looking to work in in a senior role.
It is made up of three pathways: Generic, Health and Social Care, Dementia, and Learning Disability and is a must-have for all those undertaking the Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.
Requirements
- Be aged 16 Years or above
- Have access to the working environment for the whole course duration
- Possess a solid knowledge of the english language
- Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
- Basic computer skills: e.g Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
- Have a genuine desire to succeed
